Carl builds decks across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, the Hunter Valley and the Central Coast — from full perimeter walkways around an entire house, to a covered alfresco off the back door, to small raised entertaining decks for an awkward yard. Every deck is properly framed, levelled and bearer-set so it does not move on you in five years.
Hardwood and merbau are the go-to choices: hardwood for warmth and longevity, merbau for tighter budgets and faster turnaround. Stained or oiled, sealed, and finished cleanly. Carl will walk through the timber options on the quote so you know what you are paying for and what to expect from each.
Existing deck refinishes are also welcome — sand, repair, re-stain, replace any boards that have given up. Sometimes it is more labour than expected (Katie Michelle’s deck was one of those), but the finish is worth doing right.
